Quite close. Look, a company called Metaphysics has teamed up with former AGT racer Daniel Emmett.
The team was able to create a deep and fake version of Cowell, who performs the classic Chicago ballad “You’re the Inspiration”.
Emmett was invited to the stage, where she was standing in front of a special camera.
His image just shone on the big screen behind him.
Cowell’s head was on Emmett’s body, it seemed, and he was actually singing that tune.
